Our Product
C-Band MailBox
A two-sided digital mail platform for Canada. This is the main business, not a side project, and it is what the rest of this site is built on.
For renters
A real Canadian street address with mail scanning, forwarding, storage and secure shredding. Available on the web and as an iOS app.
For operators
Print shops, shipping stores and coworking spaces run their mailbox service on our software, set their own plans and prices, and get paid through it.

Every piece of mail moves through the same four steps. Three of them run today. The fourth is where the work is going.

Arrive
An envelope reaches the operator and is photographed. Request an open scan and the pages are captured as images or PDF and stored as objects. That is enough to prove something came, and nothing more.

Read
If the renter turned it on, a vision model reads the scan in the background. With no scanned image we render page one of the PDF, then fall back to the file uploaded with the mail. With nothing readable at all the job is marked skipped, not failed.

Decide
The model returns a plain-language summary naming the sender, the dates, the amounts and whatever action the document is demanding. A property tax notice with a deadline and a flyer stop looking the same in a list.

Act
The renter forwards, stores, returns or shreds the item from the same screen, and the request appears behind the operator counter. Today a person clicks. Having the system propose the action and carry it out is where the work is going, and it is not shipped.

How It Behaves
The Parts That Are Not the Model
Choosing a model is the easy half. What decides whether an AI feature survives contact with production is everything around it.
Off until asked for
Summaries are disabled until a renter turns them on, reversible at any time from settings, and generated for the mailbox owner only.
It cannot break the app
Summarization runs in the background and never throws into the request that triggered it. Every failure is caught, given a status of its own, and left for a manual retry.
It cannot run away with cost
A completed summary is final and is never regenerated. Reruns and repeated clicks return the stored result instead of paying for inference again.
The prompt is source code
It lives in our repository and is reviewed like any other code, not typed into a vendor console where nobody can diff it.

Milo
An assistant that would answer questions across a renter’s whole mailbox history instead of one summary at a time. Designed, not built.
Self-hosted inference
We rent GPU capacity today. Moving the vision workload onto our own is the next decision in front of us, driven by cost per scan and by keeping document processing closer to home.
Check deposit
Cheques arriving by mail is a common request and it is on the roadmap. It is not shipped, so it is not on the feature list.
You will also not find customer counts, revenue, uptime figures, star ratings or compliance certifications anywhere on this site. Not because they are unflattering, but because we are not yet in a position to prove them, and we would rather you trust the numbers we do publish.
