Our Product
C-Band MailBox
A digital mail platform for Canada. People who need a real street address get their mail scanned, forwarded, stored or shredded without going anywhere. The mailbox businesses that handle that mail get the software to run it, price it and get paid for it.
The Model
Two Sides, One Platform
A Canadian address is a requirement long before it is a convenience. Incorporating a company, registering for tax, opening a bank account, receiving government correspondence: each one assumes you are physically there to collect an envelope. For people who move, travel, run a business remotely or operate from outside Canada, that assumption breaks.
The supply already exists. Print shops, shipping stores and coworking spaces across the country have counter space and a mail licence, and most of them are running the service on paper and phone calls. What they do not have is software.
C-Band MailBox connects the two. Renters choose a location and a plan, and manage everything that arrives from a dashboard. Operators list their location, set their own prices, and run the day to day work through our system. We build and operate the platform both sides depend on.
For Renters
Everything That Arrives, Handled Remotely
Mail scanning
Envelopes are photographed on arrival. Request an open scan and the contents are uploaded as images or PDF, readable from anywhere.
Forwarding and pickup
Forward a single item or a bundle to any address, or schedule an in-person pickup at the location holding your mail.
Storage and returns
Keep items in physical and cloud storage, send unwanted mail back to the sender, or have it recycled.
Secure shredding
Dispose of sensitive documents through the operator rather than leaving them in a mailbox.
Talk to the operator
Message the people physically holding your mail, rather than a central support queue that has to relay it.
Arrival notifications
Email and in-app alerts when something lands in your mailbox, so nothing sits unopened for weeks.
For Operators
The Software Behind the Counter
Run your location on our software
Mailbox inventory, assignments, reservations, scanning workflows and action requests are handled in one operator dashboard.
Set your own plans and prices
Operators publish their own plans with their own pricing and their own tax rate. Payouts run through Stripe.
A website on your own subdomain
Each operator gets a public location site, with DNS provisioned automatically, so customers can find and sign up with them directly.
Consent on record
Terms acceptance is recorded per operator and can be exported as a signed acceptance certificate when proof is needed.
How It Is Built
What the Platform Runs On
Built and run by us
We operate the platform ourselves rather than reselling somebody else’s. Scans and documents are stored as objects, separate from the database.
Web and iOS
The renter experience ships as a web app and as a native iOS app on the Canadian App Store.
Four languages
The product is localized in English, French, Turkish and Spanish, with French mattering most for the Canadian market.
AI built in house
AI Summary reads scanned mail and writes a plain-language summary. We built it ourselves rather than bolting on a third-party tool.
The AI side is covered in more detail on the AI we build page, including the model, how it is triggered and what happens when it fails.
Take a Look
See It Running
The product site has live locations, real operator plans and current pricing. If you want to talk about the platform itself rather than sign up for it, contact us directly.
